OVERSCAN (portable) - by StarSync
==================================

Overscan lights up your other screens with the colours of the one you're watching.
This is the portable version: nothing to install, and your settings stay inside this folder.
Prefer a normal install with a Start menu entry? Get Overscan-Setup instead.

1. Unzip this whole folder somewhere you'll keep it (Documents, a USB stick, anywhere).
Keep everything together: Overscan.exe needs the files next to it.

2. Open the "Overscan" folder and double-click Overscan.exe.

Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

3. A short tour opens: arrange your screens and pick a look.
One screen? Your desktop glows around videos playing in a window.
With two or more screens, the others light up too.

4. Overscan lives in the system tray (by the clock - it may be under the ^ arrow).
Double-click it for Settings. Right-click for Pause and Quit.

Something wrong?
Settings > Help shows what Overscan sees and why it isn't lit, and has "Report a Problem".
The side-screen taskbars always come back when Overscan stops.

Good to know
   - Netflix, Prime and other protected video show black to every capture tool.
YouTube, games and your own videos work.
   - Your settings are in Overscan\settings. Copy the folder and they come with it.
   - Overscan is free and provided as is - see Settings > About > Terms and Privacy.

To remove it: right-click the tray icon > Quit Overscan, then delete the folder.
(If you turned on "Start with Windows", turn it off in Settings first.)
